This is the second of its type. Though rare a FEW were produced in Ash
during the late 50's. (Duchossoir's Tele Bible pg. 53). I love the look and the sound of the ash so; here she is, #2! This is another 1 piece, Swamp Ash, 3 Tone Sunburst,
T~Caster Custom. Like all Revelator T~styles, it was hand cut, routed, bound and finished in my shop. This barnburner weighs 6.5 lbs and it resonates like a seasoned acoustic guitar when played unplugged.
The bridge pickup is now a vintage correct raised pole Alnico 3 that just one of the most wonderful pups I've ever heard. It replaced a real 51 Tele pickup and I prefer this to give you
and idea of it's tonal characteristics.
I just can't get enough of it. It features a super thin hand nitro lacquered dark rosewood board
that's been rounded, softened and painstakingly detailed to look, feel and play like an early slab. The real clay dots and the early "greenguard" look great on this little honey.
The neck pickup is also a very special Alnico 3 from Jason Lollar that sounds fantastic. Like all Revelator bodies it sports the
nail holes, dowels and router hump. Again, sorry, this one is not for sale..................Mighty E
